DirecTV adds NFL in HD
I'm a Dish Network subscriber, so this one really ticks me off. I won't hold it against you if you went with DirecTV; in fact, I'll even share the good news. DirecTV is adding an option to the very popular NFL Sunday Ticket package. For an additional $99, DirecTV provides their "Super Fan" features."Super Fan" gives you up to eight games on a single screen, game highlights on the Red Zone Channel, condensed games on Short Cuts and, most importantly, more than 100 games in HD. DirecTV is already getting close to $300 for ther regular NFL Sunday Ticket, so this package brings you closer to $400.
We say: save your money. You can usually catch three HD games every Sunday via free over-the-air (OTA) signals. It's not just because we have Dish and we're bitter. Ok, maybe just a little bitter, but then again, we're watching NFL in HD for zip!

I think it's great that a site like HDbeat picked up our press release. I just wanted to clarify that we do in fact have specs for each TV posted under a "View More Details of This Package" link. We list model numbers, resolution, and other information which you might be trying to find. We didn't post it on the list of our packages because we wanted to keep that page as simply as possible - the whole point of starting our company. But we understand that there are people that want more information and so we have provided the links to more information. Again thanks for posting about our site.
Sincerely,

Hey, I think that if you're renewing your Season Ticket, you should be able to get the games in HD for $49, not $99, or so I've been reading. Since people didn't pay for them last year, people have been a bit peeved about being forced to do so in '05.
Sorry Tom, looks like it's TWO payments of $49.50 (or $99) for the extras: http://www.directvsports.com/Subscriptions/
You're still ahead of the game in my book. I'm on Dish, so I can't even get the basic NFL Sunday Ticket!
