What happened to Zenith was a greedy group of investors pressured Zenith to cut its HDTV R&D budget.  Zenith was forced to move production of their tv's to Mexico.  And finally Zenith collapsed and was swallowed up by a Korean firm to get a stranglehold of HD patents.  Will a Korean company like LG or Samsung buy Sony?
