Finally, main stream media gets it right

It is really nice to see one mainstream press outlet not producing propaganda on digital television but rather, properly informing people on the digital switchover. I have seen so many articles from local news to the Associated Press that is just flat-out wrong on the switchover. Some state that your TVs are not going to work at all and then others state that you just need to go buy a new TV. But my faith was restored in the mainstream press when I read Andrew article.

He gets it right. Exactly right. If you have any questions or are confused about the switchover, jump over here and read this. In fact, he goes a step farther and proclaims that digital does not mean HD. At this point I checked to make sure I was in fact on USA TODAY.com.

This is rare and it is certainly refreshing.

So what do those of us who won't rent a cable box do? Eat cake?

I pay for analog cable service, and I'm not interested in the digital nonsense. Guess my option will go away.
