The only reason I went with CRT and not DLP was price (CRT cost me $1,700 while the 42" DLP was still about $3,000)... of course you can get a 50" DLP for about $2,000 now. Got my 65" Mits CRT RPTV back in August of 2000. At the time I didn't even have a progressive DVD player. I think my first HD show on this tv wasn't until 2002 or 2003. Early adopters rock.<br><br>Anyone out there with that 38" RCA CRT with integrated HDTV tuner?  That was the first HDTV I ever noticed, and the one I lusted after way back when. Damage?  $2500+tax on the Toshiba 40H80, $600 for the SD6200 DVD player, $300 for the DISH 6000. Luckily, several Seattle TV stations were already broadcasting SOME HiDef content (our local PBS, KCTS, being the most) at the time.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Daniel Kao]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Oct 31st 2005 5:52PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
