The official car of HD Beat? Almost

From our friends over at Autoblog I spotted this heavily customized Scion xA, which looks to have everything your favorite HD Beat reader or Pimp My Ride contestant could possibly ask for, until I looked at the specs.

Oh no.

This must be a mistake, 1024 x 768?  Nooooooo (c) Vader. I couldn't find a model number on the 19" Samsung LCD screens in the back, but the Casio XJ-560 projector up front is only capable of XGA resolutions, not HDTV. However with Samsung being the official HDTV for the 360, the fact that there is one hooked up to the two LCD's means maybe there is hope. It does have a 5.1 surround system, and in case you didn't notice, no roof or windows.  So close, and yet so far.

that is the stupidest, ugliest piece of non-productive crap i have ever seen

FACT: if you want good car sound you need a solid roof (and doors!)

FACT: the 1.5L lawnmower engine probably can't drive the car and power all that electical crap at the same time
