While that Roku Photobridge was cute and I'm sure the guys who made the GalleryPlayer software are nice folks, I know exactly where I'm going to get high quality stills to display on my HDTV.
Project Gotham Racing 3. Besides just playing the game in 720p (you already know, NY, Las Vegas, London modeled to photorealistic detail, as many polygons used on the insides of the car as the outside of previous gen games, etc.), there is also an included photomode, which unlike the one featured in Gran Turismo 4, allows you to pause at any time during a race, position the camera and adjust various settings to create some beautiful visual effects.
November 22 cannot get here fast enough.
Looking good. I will be at Wal-Mart the night of the 21st to get my hands on a 360. My HD set is midline and cannot display 720p. Im hoping it looks nice in 1080i, which I think PGR3 can do.
PGR3 will output in 720p only I believe, but from what microsoft has said, it will upconvert to 1080i if that is all your TV will support
