High def videoconferencing
Just when we thought nobody wanted high definition videoconferencing,
those crazy Norwegians had to prove us wrong. Det norske Radium, a
hospital in Norway, has become the first customer of the LifeSize Room
product for use in the training facility of their cancer research
center. Featuring 1280x720 resolution over a 1mbps connection, it
promises to connect to any high definition display and be able to show
participants life-size without any loss of quality. It uses h.264
compression and can also stream content from PC's to be shared over the
connection.Well, I guess you all know where to reach me for the next HD Beat conference call, I better shave, 5:00 shadow could get ugly in 720p.

This is why the PS3 HD-IP camera is going to be great! (It runs at 1080p), hospitals can use it!!! JKS
uhmm..i don't see how can they reach HD with only 1mbps, or it's 1Mbps(8mbps)?
