companies have been touting "cheaper plasmas" for forever now, but its just not happening.
older sets are priced to compete, but the new ones will continue to cost an arm and a leg.
Whats more, once the majority of consumers start looking into HD, they'll realize the drawbacks of the plasma (esp with the EDTV fiasco).
Increased inventory should equal lower pricing...meh, one can dream.
