HDTV-streaming sucked me into eBay
Yup, I think I'll end this chapter of posts by admitting that I have an Xbox 360 coming to me; for the second time. If you recall, I had the last spot at my local Wal-Mart at 4:00 a.m.
yesterday morning. I was number 14 and there were 14 consoles
available. Thinking I had done enough intelligence on the supply and
demand, I foolishly gave up that last spot to get a Premium system. Oh,
that was "Premium" alright; a Premium mistake!I now have an Xbox 360 Core system on it's way from the West Coast and it should arrive on Friday. Don't laugh too hard, I did get an extra game as part of the deal (Madden '06). What's that, are you still laughing? Ah, I don't blame you. I just bid and won the same console I basically had for $299 yesterday. What was the price on eBay you ask? A little more than double retail. The high-def streaming better be worth it!

Ha, HA!!
Double the retail price? I wish you had bid on mine...I only got over $500 and I am going to have a gift receipt to send with it. Then what do I get a few hours after the auction is over...an email with "I think I made a mistake. Does this come with a hard drive?" NO, THE CORE DOES NOT HAVE A HARD DRIVE. Now I am awaiting his next email where he will prob want to cancel his bid. Yea I can give negative feedback, but when he's currently at 12 does it matter.
ebay is so weird, it peaked so high yesterday with all the hype, and now with everyone selling one they arent going for anything.
ahhaha...Good luck with your 360!
Looks like the prices are back up again on eBay. They wen't down a bit yesterday.. I'd guess they'll stay high till maybe Monday, or until more are confirmed at retail outlets.
