Everyone is going to want Vista. Because MS has fixed everything they promised in XP. Especially for IT professionals.
As for the "built-in" support. You have never used the built-in support for DVD because their isn't any. Not even on Windows Media Center Edition! All current versions of Windows require a DVD(MPEG2) codec that is supplied via a 3rd party vendor like WinDVD.
All the more reason why this threat is merit less.
