Most consumers would love a RF ATSC modulator in products. But the MPAA will fight this all the way, since it will make it far to easy to record. Especially considering the main reason for HDMI/UDI is more DRM not less.
Any word on HDMI's capabitlity to support a compressed signal? If not I will continue to support HANA.
