52" LG DLP here... Bought in 9/2004. 1st Bulb went in March 2005. A few weeks ago my lamp warning light came on telling me that my 2nd bulb is nearing the end of it's life.
Despite the 90 warranty, I convinced LG to replace the 1st bulb fully and the 2nd bulb (parts only). I figure I'm getting 1000-1500 hours out of it. Personally, I cannot believe there hasn't been a lawsuit because they advertise 6k-8k hours and I NEVER here anyone approach that number.
