Let's give a widescreen welcome to the newest member of the
HD Beat team: Ben Drawbaugh! If you're an avid reader of AVS Forums or a listener
to the "This Week in HD" podcast, then you're already familiar with Ben. HDTV is a passionate hobby for Ben
and he's a network engineer when not watching his high-def. Matt, Richard and I are all thrilled
to have another very knowledgeable blogger join the team and we hope you are too. Hey Ben, about that
podcasting thing; you know we've been kickin'
an HD Beat podcast idea around, right? Let's talk!
Ben, your podcast is absolutely great, man. Thanks for great content. And thanks to HD Beat for being the "Blog of Record" of the HD-verse.
Maybe now we can get someone to blow the lid off of High Def's biggest "secret".... DOWNREZZING and BITSTARVING by providers (aka HD Lite).
Thanks for listening. We have fun making it. In fact it is the only time I get to talk about HDTV without being looked at funny.
I think I might be able to put together an article on the current status of HD-Lite.
