Another HD Easter Egg courtesy of Earl
Another one! This is starting to become a regular feature on My Name is Earl. This one comes in the form of a sticky note on the beer tap in the Crab Shack that says "HD Draft" (huge image - slow load times) It happened about 3/4 of the way through the episode when Filo goes to meet Joy at the Crab Shack. It actually was on the screen a few times unlike the last ones that came and went.
Reader Scott M was quick with this one. He sent us a tip while
all of us were enjoying The Office. I have to admit that I missed this one; in fact, I have missed all of them. Oh
well, I am sure there will be more. Did anyone else notice this one?Past My Name is Earl Easter Eggs.

So that's what that was. I guess it makes sense now. I had heard about these Easter eggs before, but I didn't put two and two together.
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!
How many times????
This isn't a HD easter egg, this show is exported all over the world (there's no where on this site saying it's a US one - especially since you always report news here in the UK)
When this episode is shown here in the UK on our SD broadcasts that will easily be seen (like all the other "Earl" and "Lost" ones), just because we don't have HD doesn't mean we don't have widescreen!
you need to start calling them Widescreen easter eggs, not HD ones
Actually I believe that is in the American to British dictionary.
HD Easter egg = Widescreen Easter egg.
I saw the sticker but I didn't bother to read it. haha!
So after reading about the first 3 here and then kicking myself for not noticing, I actually caught this one while watching the show. Woo hoo! My Easter-egg sense is more finely tuned!
Ok, resized the image so it can load faster off my wonderful broadband connection. :)
Maff Mace - But the Easter Eggs all refer to HD not Widescreen.
Get an interview with the Earl creators! Let's hear more from them, they're obviously very cool guys! ;)
The "standard definition" broadcast of this is also in widescreen (w/window-box bars), so this "easter egg" is really just part of the show.
