Extend an HDMI cable 150 feet
Intelix has one possible solution. They just announced a HDMI over CAT-5 balun which will allow you to run two 150 foot CAT5 cables to connect your HDMI equipment. The device is HDCP compliant and is perfect for projectors or technology closets. It does seem odd to me that they choose CAT5, it seems that a single RG6 cable would have been a better choice.

hmmm...hdcp compliant?? so does that mean this one device will accept any hdcp compliant device's signal and strip it down to play on ANY hdtv?? ;-)
if so...im down
It would be cool if you could use this to create a 1 to many relationship between output and input devices.
This appears to just be a rebadged Gefen. Or, they are both rebadging someone elses OEM device. Either way, Gefen's version of this has been available for quite a while...
What about an auto sensing switch for those of us that only have 1 HDMI in port on our TV? When blu ray players come out, i am going to want to keep running my satellite tuner box thru HDMI, but aparently I have to run HDMI to get full HD blu-ray or hddvd... So, hows about a box that will automatically switch to source number two when it gets a signal from it and still be HDCP compliant?
