DIRECTV blade coming to Xbox360 Dashboard?

Wow, how cool would it be to stream HD content from your DIRECTV HD DVR to your Xbox360? According to this Official Xbox magazine scan over at XBOX360FANBOY it might just happen. I hope they add a menu item to the Xbox360 media extender menu too! This is exactly the type of integration that DIRECTV needs to have in order to excel them back to the HD leader. The interesting question is how it will deal with MPEG4 content from the new HD DVR that will be out later this year, considering the Xbox360 doesn't support this format now. I highly doubt this will support the current HDTiVo that is scheduled to be replaced later this year.

I would love to see something like this. As a D* sub and an X360 owner, I'd be in heaven. Make it happen MS!
I hope its an option (if it is indeed a blade). Because most 360 owners are not Directv subs so such a blade would be useless to them. I hope microsoft does it right and leave it as a extender function only (where cablecard and the directv cablecard will be)
Yes, great indeed but what about us Canadians who don't get DirectTV!?
*sigh*
I still wish there was some way of simply making a technology like this generic. Like for instance a magical adpater that could turn a (DVI/Component/HDMI) signal into a (for instance) Firewire stream. Yea, I know Firewire on cable STB's exist but we're limited by 5C and that sucks! Plus there the only way to stream such video to a PC is pretty well hacked together right now.
