HDBeat Poll: how do you record HDTV content?
Now that Ben has showed you
how and where you can get a multitude of high-def content, we were curious how you record your current HD
programming. If you don't record it currently, there's an option for that too; plus you have our deepest sympathies.
Let us know how you primarily record your HDTV for time-shifting enjoyment in HD at your convenience.

I use the FusionHDTV software that came with my card.
I'm waiting for the MPEG4 DirecTV HD-DVR that's supposed to be coming this spring. I'm getting the AT-9 dish installed this week, along with a H20 receiver. I'd get the HD-TiVo, but it's MPEG2 and may not tune every new HD channel that comes down the feed.
I find it funny that there are currently 30 people who voted for "other"... yet there are only 2 comments.
I use GBPVR with my Fusion5 USB Tuner. Works great.
Just thought I would clarify my vote for "Windows Media Center"....
I do use WMC BUT I do it over Firewire (not OTA) through Tim Moore's awesome plugin. I do have a Motorola 6412 but rarely use it since I discovered how much better it is to simply use WMC.
Travis:
Where can we find out more about Tim Moore's plugin?
Thanks,
Eric
I am one of those "others" voters...I use four different Macs using Apple's VirtualDVHS and one PC using a MyHD130.
This is the "official" thread.

Tim went MIA for a little while but is back and said he is reuming development on his plugin to get live HD and streaming with the Xbox 360 to work properly. It currently works well with an original Xbox.
