SKY HD preps HD launch with glitzy website
SKY HD might not have high-def just yet but they got a fancy new website about it.
This site is going to give current and prospective SKY customers info about the new service they will be able to get
later this year. The website is part of their "feel everything" campaign. If you visit the site, there is no
way you can miss it.Sky is shooting for the moon with an expectation of 2 million sets sold in 2006. Could be tricky if they haven't launched yet and only have a flashy website.

Just looked at the Sky web site in search of information about the launch date. Needless to say there is no information and the site is one of the most annoying I have seen in last couple of years.
sky are holding back on info because they want to no how many people are interested in hd before they deside how much they are going to charge for box and how muh the subscription is going to be dont we pay enough already 42 pounds a mounth all those poor people that have gone out and paid for a hd redy tv thinking they will get hd for nothing.wait a year before getting hd sky will soon do it for free on full package like they did with sky+ when they realise people wont pay there over priced charges
