I'm guessing March 28 doesn't mean much now. Anything up to and including April 18 will be just fine.
Personally, I don't see buying a player until the library is sufficient that I would want to begin upgrading my DVD collection. I won't watch a movie just because it is in HD. That's what the PBS channel was for. I've watched my share of HD babbling brooks and tourism videos.
Oh, and considering that my TV doesn't have HDMI inputs, I might not be venturing into HD movie territory until SED sees the light of day.
