HDTV Listings for March 17, 2006
If thats not your speed, there's always Chronicles of Riddick on HBO at 8 p.m., but playing the game in 480p may be more enjoyable for some.
Our traditional high-def listings continue below. Here are some other HDTV programs showing on selected networks today. All times are Eastern and reruns are in italics:
ABC (720p): In Justice (9 p.m.)
CBS (1080i): NCAA First Round games (not in HD as far as we can tell) Half are HD, half aren't (thanks Snofseth!)
NBC (1080i): Las Vegas (9 p.m.), Conviction (10 p.m.), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (11:35 p.m.)
WB (1080i): What I Like About You (8 p.m.), Living with Fran (8:30 p.m.), Reba (9 & 9:30 p.m.)
Discovery-HD (1080i): Wild Asia (7 p.m.), Aida, Acts 1&2, Acts 3&4 (8 & 9:30 p.m.)
ESPN-HD (720p): SportsCenter (6 & 11:30 p.m.)
INHD (1080i): Snowboarding: New Zealand Open (8:00 p.m.), High School Basketball: Oregon City at Oswego (9 p.m.)
INHD2 (1080i): Antarctica (8 p.m.), Maroon 5: Friday the 13th (9 p.m.),
HBO-HD (1080i): The Chronicles of Riddick (8 p.m.), The Sopranos (10 p.m.)
Showtime-HD (1080i): Sleeper Cell (9 p.m.)
TNT-HD (1080i): Charmed (6 p.m.), Law & Order (7 p.m.), What Lies Beneath (8 & 10:45 p.m.)

Half of the NCAA games are in HD, two of the four sites have HD cameras and the other two do not
The interesting thing to me is that my local CBS affiliate broadcasts 7.1 and 7.2. Normally the 7.2 channel ends up just showing a view of the airport, but tonight it's showing a different basketball game in SD from the game that is showing in HD on 7.1.
