Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
A few things from the show...
You mentioned cable boxes must have HDMI. As of now, this isnt the case. I work at a small cable company (small compared to Comcast) and we do offer HD boxes with DVI (w/ DCP) output.
Also, I wanted to mention that I too have had a few universal remotes that might have been able to control all my devices, but weren't worth the trouble. I must say the the Logitech Harmony 880 is working great for me. The web based interface for programming isnt as quick as I think it should be, but I am finally able to control all my devices with one remote.
Thanks for the great site and great show.
