HDTV Listings for April 14, 2006

What we're watching: Speaking of reality shows moving to high definition, Trading Spouses is apparently in 720p this week, should be interesting. We aren't surprised that Fox is taking this step, with Cops apparently showing in HD now and their insistence on pumping out a new reality show every other day, why not push on to HD?

It would be nice if you could go to their website and confirm which shows are or aren't in high def though *cough*.

Is "Nada" a new show on ABC? Just kidding! Like the previous post, I come here daily to checkout what's on HD. Can you guys add Starz HD to your listing?

FYI
FOX reality shows like COPS and Nanny 911 are not HD. They are 480i 16:9 upconverted at the network to 720p. Tonight's Trading Spouses is 480i 4:3 upconverted to 720p 4:3.

That makes sense Ken, to confuse things even further, it appears that in my area they don't even bother upconverting and stretching because it is very much only in SD, despite being listed in HD.
