Some people are just so curious. Take Lorin for example. He ran out and bought Toshiba's HD-A1 HD DVD player and documented him opening the thing up. The six minute clip includes everything from him removing it from the box to installing the HD DVD drive in a PC. No, Windows does not recognize it silly, but BIOS did. He did indicate that purhaps Vista would...
It is differently worth watching if those internal pics of the player was not enough to satisfy you.
This is cool and this guy has sure has guts or a million dollars sitting in has account.
From the looks of the player it seems like Toshiba didnt spent that much time on it. It looks like the went the old original XBOX route, which just took pretty much general pc components and put them together with their own OS on it, except this is even worse then the xbox. I bet you can take all the stuff off the toshiba and build your own PC, just add a hard drive.
