A couple of titles we already
knew were coming to HD DVD but didn't know when, have gotten a date. May 16 the few, the proud, the...$800/$500 lighter in the wallet can look forward to high definition copies of
Unforgiven and
Full Metal Jacket coming to stores near them. The price is set to $28.99, and will include the bonus features in SD just like previous HD DVD releases. Since these titles are also slated for Blu-ray release, it will be interesting to see if bonus features for that format will be included in HDTV resolutions as some Blu-ray supporters have suggested.
How can the bonus features ever be presented in HD if they were not done in film? Most bonus features are done on video and will never be HD.
These titles are also slated for Blu-Ray release? Really? Where did you read that, exactly?
It is on this list.

Warner announced this back in January, as noted in te original linked post

It's all about the content, well and the availability, lol. Anyone see blu ray like the PS3? As in it will get here "someday"? You can bet the content is going to take a similarly winding path to actually get to you. Wait till we see how long it takes PS3 titles to show up! Anyway, HD DVD knows that if they have the stuff to watch and bluray does not, then they know what you'll be buying.
Kudos HD DVD, didn't think you had it in ya, but yer doin good!
