ABC-(not)-HD
That's what one of our readers is saying. Despite the HD logo up there next to the Stephen King special, Hammerdown saw only a 480i jumble of lies, deceit and more lies. Was he the only one who didn't get hi-def horror tonight?

I set this to record too. About 15 minutes in I flipped over to make sure it was hi-def and it wasn't. I was very dissapointed. I remember ABC's website having the abc-hd logo on the page describing this movie.
Time Warner Cable in Minnesota -> I also got "Desperation" only in SD. Very disappointing.
I thought this would be HD, but alas, it wasn't.
I was pretty peeved about that. I even sent in an email to my ABC affiliate to let them know. I'm in the DFW market. Was everyone affected, or just certain markets?
It was SD for me too (Chicago). I thought that was very strange. ABC promoted the heck out of it and I just assumed it would be in HD, being a new movie and all.
I ended up watching it in SD. It was an ugly little box on ABC-HD.
I didn't record it nor did I watch it (still catching up on season finales). The question should be, did anyone who did watch it and upon seeing it wasn't being broadcast in HD call their local station and make sure that it wasn't someone down there that didn't forget to turn up the HD?
It was SD for me too, but the strange part is that it was pillarboxed. Typically SD content on my OTA ABC HD station is SD stretched, but for some reason it was pillarboxed.
Doral, Miami-Dade county, FL.
SD here too, side bars as well. Decided not to watch it.
Seems not like isolated/local broadcasting issue so far...!
I missed it and forgot to set the DVR, but my cox guide here in Tulsa never once said it would be in HD.
I to recorded it on my PVR as it has the HD symbol on the Cable menu ...As soon as I started and realized it was in smeaerovision it got deleted ...So much for ABC and there ameteur hour...
