England didn't win the '66 world cup according to high-def

Geoff Hurst might not be a name known in many homes across America but he sure is famous world wide. This is the guy that 'won' the '66 World Cup for England but upon further review, he didn't. The winning goal was always a big controversy. The ball had hit the crossbar and supposedly bounced across the goal line. But with the help of BSkyB's HDTV, the ball never crossed the line. Talk about luck England.
Not that it matter as we won the match 4-2.
Anyway I though HD analysis proved that it did cross the line?
Oh and if thats not enough it's cancelled out by the hand of god in 86.
From 1930 to 1990 you had to have a two point difference for a win. 1 point was considered a draw.
Nothing that Ashley Allen said made any sense to me.
@ Jared, it was the world cup final, a one off game, points were nothing to do with it, and 3 points for a win was intoduced in the 70's. A draw was considered a draw, your comment doesn't make much sense.
@ Ashley, you're correct, Sky's 3D model proved it went over the line but as you say, we won 4-2 so knocking one goal off our final score would still mean we won.
I too heard the analysis says the ball crossed the line (even though it does change the original result of the match).
So question:
Matt, where's your info from?
Aside from everthing that was one hack of a final!
So can anyone actually point to a copy of the new video so we can see for ourselves?
