The summer is almost officially here and that means there isn't much on TV. There are a few shows and we talk about what is out there. We also discuss World Cup coverage as Matt offends soccer fans everywhere by calling boring. We continue the war debate, and discuss the Xbox 360's update. We also spend a few minutes talking about DLP and IMAX theaters.Get the podcast

I think the "small African country" that you mentioned was actually Trinidad and Tobago, which is nowhere near Africa.
Hye guys, thanks for the mention about my SA8300Hd being "wife approved". We do have SARA. My wife had ADD and once she learns things one way, it messes her up if I suggets another or better way to do something. It would be nice for TWC to have the SA8300HD have more TIVO functions (for me).
I saw Matrix Revolutions on the IMAX in Raliegh NC. It was pretty good as far as PQ, but since it was a widescreen movie it did not fill up the entire screen like a traditional IMAX show. I am not sure if the IMAX screen is 4:3, but the traditional IMAX movie screen is almost square with the picture from floor to cieling and side to side to envelop you in the movie.
They do have some rather large speakers though!
Brian Singer (X-Men, Usual Suspects) is the director of the newer Superman movie, and he filmed the movie with brand new Panavision technology, all digital. Some scenes will be in full on 3D in the IMAX version of the film. Check this article for the rest of the goodnesss...

You guys should go see a DLP film, they are beautiful and bright. Over the Hedge and The Island were both crystal clear, and brilliant to look at.
GO SEE CARS IN DLP!!!!! Trust Me!
