If I was paying $7500 a year, I would expect to be able to watch the Chicago nightly news in HDTV from the local affiliate, even if I lived in LA, or anything like that.

I know people who pay that just for very good internet access - I think it has a market, just as Ferrari's, Lamborghinis and Porsche's etc.. do.

Sure a spotty teenager at McDonalds would find it hard to fork out that much, but I don't think thats their market.

In terms of the 6/28 date, that is the date that DirecTV opens up the availablity of HD Locals in numerous markets.
