Any 'dual format' player would have to have two lasers. One Red, One Blue... sounds expensive and prone to failure to me... I'm sitting this war out. 480p looks pretty good on my Samsung 50" DLP... but I spend most of my time watching HDTV or Xbox 360 in 720p/1080i.
