For 8 grand I do not think it is worth it. But man it would be cool to load up some 1080p art work; with the pixel density people could get right up to it and not see the pixels...just like a gallery. I wish these manufacturers would toss in a USB port so you could just pop in a thumbdrive loaded up with photos rather than a special DVD or HTPC...but that is a different post.
Make it six grand and then I am torn, otherwise no.
