Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
I don't understand why people are so eager to pay for over compressed MPEG4 locals when you can get OTA at better quality for free. I understand people who have difficulties receiving OTA but they must be the minority. I have two antennas in my attic and I receive both Miami stations and West Palm Beach stations. This represents 15 stations of which 11 broadcast HD content while the remaining are digital versions of their analog stations.
I have not intention of buy a non-TiVo DVR. I have three DirecTV TiVo units, two HR10-250's and a SAT-T60, you will have to pry my TiVos from my cold dead hands.
