I was one of the first 100 to have DirecTV east of the hudson river in New England so I have been with them a long time I went with DirecTVio as soon as they offered it and now I own 2 HD DirecTVio machines.... the HD 10-250 has been a good unit for me and I live where there is no over the air HD TV... so for me it is DirecTV or DISH. But given the very slow introduction of HD programing the question of if I stay or jump to DISH will I expect come down to how they treat me when the time comes to be forced to move to the new non TiVo HD receivers... I also do not want to give up the TiVo interface that is now second nature to me... If after trying one of the new boxes and I do not like it I expect I will move to dish to get more programing choice as I will have to learn a new interface anyway...
The phone has 256MB of RAM and a 1GHz processor, which do the job reasonably well, though the Anna interface will likely leave something to be desired for many smartphone users.
