HD Updates: Additional Blu-ray releases and How to save 10% on high-def discs
Updating from another story earlier today, it was decided that this warranted a post of its own, so here we go. There are three Blu-ray releases that were missed by the out-of-date list at our normal high def review site, which doesn't seem to realize that Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Kung Fu Hustle, and Legends of the Fall (now available in standard-definition, Superbit, and Blu-ray editions!) are all releasing tomorrow. This brings the total of released titles up to 23 for the Blu-ray camp.On a related note, Amazon now has a promotion where buying certain combinations of players, sets, or even just three HD DVD or Blu-ray titles on one cart gets you 10% off Blu-ray or HD DVD purchases for the next 365 days. While still a premium over sales on DVDs, this basically gets you free shipping for a year, which can really bring those next-gen disc costs more inline with the prices for standard-def content.

Kung Fu Hustle is one of the funniest damn movies I've seen in years. I'll be buying it! (After I've bought a blu-ray player. And an HDTV.)
Not to make light of the situation you are in, but are meaning to tell me you don't even have an HDTV? I guess knowing as much as you possibly can about HDTV before you actually get one is smart.
It must suck for you when the only post for the day are the HDTV listings.
