Want HD DVD to gain more studio support? Sign these petitions

Petitions can be a very powerful tool. If enough of the target audience signs one, things can happen. That is exactly what some people are trying to do with these following petitions. They are designed to show studios that they want to view their libraries of titles on HD DVDs. If these reach enough people, they might just do the trick. We do have to note that HDBeat is not taking any specific side on this war though (I have however), but if this is your kind of thing, you might want to go sign your John Hancock - digitally that is.
Studio Petitions

What, no petition for Sony Pictures?
Why would they need a petition if they for the most part already have all the studios giving either full or shared support? Not 100% sure on this, but I don't think there is one studio that has not agreed to support Blu-Ray at all.
WASD John,
Universal is all HD DVD, but that is it.
Man this site is GAY for HD-DVD :(
WTF
Lance Bass just told me he objects to your derogatory post and that you should take your comments back at once.
This is the most retarded idea I have ever seen. A petition!?!? There are fricken people dying in hordes around the world, our government is in the middle of being overtaken by fascists, the environment is going to hell... but I am supposed to be pissed off that not enough studios support a retarded half assed optical format!?!?! That is the very definition of pathetic.
John, please...the name of the site is HDBeat. It is about High Definition. That is what readers of this site come to read about. This is not Amnesty International or a social commentary site - if it was, I could understand you being upset. HOWEVER, this site is dedicated to electronics and HD-DVD & Blu-Ray are the next steps in an optical change. It is what they should be covering...so shut up and take it somewhere else. Thanks.
Wow, relax kid. I am not criticizing your precious site am I? I am criticizing the idea of a petition aren't I? And perhaps the obsessive compulsives who believe a brand new optical media that has been on the market for less than 4 months deserves a political movement.
If you feel it is important to tell people to shut up about this, perhaps you take your HD-DVD a little too seriously? Eh? Are you tender? Need a good holding?
