Yes I was referring to on the fly VC-1 encoding.. Since it is basically a PC it should be able BUT I haven't used any VC-1 encoding apps on the PC so I cant really determine the resources to do on the fly VC-1 encoding. With multi core chips be coming the standard and quad just around the bend it could be feasible.. I mean my HTPC can dump the ATSC TS stream to a storage device.
