AT&T's U-verse adds WealthTV
While AT&T's Homezone may not be HDTV-ready just yet their FiOS offering U-verse is adding channels as it's own HD launch approaches, the most recent being WealthTV. Their high definition programming, SD VOD and HD VOD will all be available to U-verse customers. No mention of when that will happen but judging by postings on U-Verse users forums, we can assume they will be available when HD hits sometime in September. We don't have WealthTV here yet, but it sounds a bit like the all-Cribs, all the time station Matt has been dreaming of. Any frequent viewers want to tell us what it's like?

WealthHD is complete shit. It's a bunch of absoloutly insipid and dull shows about $10,000 lamps and $300,000 end tables. It's one of the most bizarre and pointless channels I've seen in a long time. Unless you're a millionaire it's guaranteed to offend you.
Has anyone seen/heard if these fiber to the home type services offer an improved HD picture/audio quality by compressing less? I know the bandwidth should in theory allow for a less compressed picture, but are these companies making the effor to get the most out of the bandwidth as far as the HD and HD VOD services go?
Yeah, they add WealthHD and then sell your account information or give it away to the NSA. Read the recently revised AT&T stance on your p[rivate information.
WealthTV sucks. Period.
I've been watching Wealth tV for some time on Starstream. They have a series on Health that is pretty strong. The Boomer show is also very entertaining. I haven't seen any $300k end table type stuff on the channel and would'nt be interested. Show me a $300k car and it's a different story. They define wealth in a broader sense not necessarily money.
