Pete... You can see any of the video trailers? Try a smaller trailer like the 480p version. If you see video then it may be that your computer does not have enough cpu power to display the video. If not even the 480p works then it could be that somehow you have a corrupted Quicktime and an un-install/re-install should clear it up.
