Ignorance is bliss, BLUE RAY is such an inferior technology MPEG2 codec...please..how old is that codec...not to mention the fact that you have to be a real sucker to buy a player twice the price of HD-DVD, less picture quality (even with its larger capacity, which BTW has yet to be produced).
Oh ya, the cost of converting any production line flirts with 1-2 milllion dollars and will be limited to single layer disc while HD-DVD will cost roughly 250000 thousand dollars to convert.
Well, I guess Sony didn't learn from their past experiences i.e. Betamax, SACD, Mini-Disc, etc
I suggest you do your home work before you open your mouth. I don't care about who release what, but rather which one offer me the greatest quality of picture and sound!
>>> Did you hear about TRUE HD 5.1 sound codec? ;-)
