So while thier new screen might be HD-ready all the footage shown on the screen (i.e. replays & game footage) will be shot and processed using SD equipment. Hopefully next year they can have all the HD hardware in place to enjoy the fancy screen (that thing is GIORMOUS btw).

Texas A&M on the other hand, while not having a screen as large as t.u.'s did decide to invest in upgrading it's studio to have all HD equipment. So all game footage for this upcoming season will be shot using HD cameras and will be processed in the new HD studio and shown on our new Mitsubishi Diamond Vision™ Display.

http://www.mitsubishielectric.com/news/2006/Diamond%20Vision%20Collegiate%20Installations%206-7-06.htm

Gig'em

Eli

Comments on Texas Longhorns 'big as Texas' display completed

Careful your inferiority complex is showing Eli.

Doug

Comments on Texas Longhorns 'big as Texas' display completed

Damn.
