By which time, no one will care... I had a great debate about this with some "average" consumers recently. They were unconvinced of the "need" for a format change. As someone with thousands of dollars invested in DVD's, I am also unwilling to change formats so soon. By the time the average person is ready to move to a new format, we'll probably be moving away from physical media anyway.
