But it does make sense for Sun to join the BDA. The first battle nearly tanked the company, ruined the stock, with Sun receiving some Microsoft pocket change ("and future support") of around $1 bill last year.

You'd think they'd learn from the past and not oppose Microsoft yet again. Until then, I'm enjoying the highest quality HD movies available to consumers at a price of only $450. And if BD wins, I'll still have a kick-ass upconverting player for my current DVD collection.
