"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
Sorry Blu-Ray fans...but this story isn't just an HD Beat story!!! It's all over the internet!! Pioneer is just the first of what im sure will be several companies to switch and start supporting BOTH formats. Blu-Ray is floundering with early adopters and Pioneer is smart enough not to be stuck holding a losing hand if Blu-Rays fortunes don't change soon. Sony's spin machine and smoke and mirrors are starting to wear off. They screwed up and by not making it a slam dunk have allowed HD-DVD to put up a formidable fight. Companies are protecting the bottom line with no loyalty to Sony or it's faultering format.
