What a colossal disappointment! I just finished viewing “Balance of Terror” and I am sorry to report that this is the same old 1970s era Star Trek TOS that has been butchered to accommodate more advertising. Doing this cuts the heart from each story. What the viewer is left with is a hollow story treatment that is no better than Cliff Notes. I hope CBS/Paramount has the sense to release the DVDs with all of the scenes INTACT instead of Star Trek TOS Lite.
