Best Home Theater winners from CEDIA 2006
Sure we've already got the best of all the various gadgets shown off at CEDIA 2006, but what about putting it all together? We'd put some of the people in the HDBeat flickr group up against anyone, but check out how professional installers do it given budgets from 40k to several hundred thousand dollars. The 19 shown definitely take what is possible in a home theater to a whole new level. All we can do is recommend becoming fabulously wealthy, it is clearly worth the effort.

Ok, at the risk of sounding like an absolute dork, that Star Trek room is pretty cool. I don't think I'd do it in my room, personally, but there's a LOT of details in that room that look amazing.
Agreed, that Star Trek theme seems to have been done pretty well without being to garish. Of course, at these costs it better not be garish.
THe Star Trek bridge deck is not only the best, but most functional. No need to totally hide all of your high tech equipment where it's almost unaccessible. Instead, it's part of the decor itself. Plus, having a dozen or so flat panel monitors spread about the room only adds to the viewing options, especially on game day!
the star trek one is in my country club in south florida. pretty sweet theatre, my friend has seen it since he lives in the neighborhood with the mutli-million dollar homes while i live in the million dollar neighborhood. the owner of this theatre is an owner of a adult magazine and it starts with PENT.
