HD Trailer Tuesday
It has been a few weeks since we did one of these but Apple has been slow on adding high-def movie trailers to their site. In case this is new to you, Apple streams high-def movie trailers on their site encoded in 480p, 720p, and 1080p that look amazing -- that is if your computer can handle the high resolution. The two new trailers on the site, Home of the Brave and Fur, both have great picture quality and all but one of the two doesn't strike our fancy. Home of the Brave looks like a modern day Black Hawk Down situation, but Fur, well, maybe it is too artsy-fartsy for us high-def heads. It just isn't our cup of tea. Both of the trailers are short however and you might want to check out both of 'em anyways; who knows, Fur might be your flavor.

Gee, how 'bout letting the individual (and more oft than not), "cultured" HD heads decide which to view for themselves instead of biasing with prejudiced comments? Oh yeah, I forgot that having ones own blog gives one the right to be snarky, ignorant AND judgemental - a most unwelcome aftertaste of the Engadget aquisition/merger/whatever...
For future reference, a simple "Hey everyone, Apple's got new HD trailers up" notification is more than sufficient.
