This shows just what support the Blu-ray Disc format has i terms of CE makers. Sure It's pricey but what new technology is not? Inferior because of less support from CE manufacturers, content providers. 50GB vs. 30GB. Less thruput which means less bitrate for audio and video.

HD-DVD IS Inferior to Blu-ray Disc.
