Top 10 grossing movies are nice but they don't always represent the Top 10 DVD purchases. Frankly there are no real Blockbusters coming this year. No Cars no Dead Man's Chest etc. By years end we should see perhaps a slight Blu-Ray advantage in movies but nothing significant. New Line isn't delivering movies. Lionsgate is done for 2006 save for the BD50 The Descent.

Fine with me. I don't have a player yet but I'm stockpiling a few of my favorites that have excellent PQ. Next year we'll see some classics hitting with great interactivity. This stuff right now is just a trial run. ]]>Oct 18th 2006 10:06AM
