I have a 30" Sanyo CRT HD set and my parents have an LCD set (different maker) but when I look at the picture on their set compared to my CRT, I can really see the difference. The LCD picture is flat (i.e. constrast is non-existent), blacks are gray, saturation is minimal. I love the look of the image on my CRT and it actually weighs less than my old 32" 4:3 set! Long live CRT until manufacturers can produce something comparable.
