And BTW, don't insult people for "not even being able to afford Blu-Ray" because that's simply just low, not to mention one of the main reason people (like you) seem to love HD DVD is the fact that the players cost about half as much.

And "the dying format"? Blu-Ray is "dying"? According to your little site, Blu-Ray is consistently increasing. Then again I don't like that site, but you can find data elsewhere that proves this, both for HD DVD and Blu-Ray. Both are steadily increasing. That's not what happens when something "dies".

Personally, I have to side with this site's own Mr. Drawbaugh, Blu-Ray will win. HD DVD is making a valiant effort, but it simply isn't enough. (Just like 30 GB.)

Kevin

Comments on

not only do they cost half as much but every review has shown that HD DVD is superior in terms of picture and sound quality not to mention reliability over BD. oh can you explain to me why Sony has delayed their player for like the 5th time? Or why can't Samsung fix the faulty chip and HDMI connection of their BD player? Or way LG, Samsung, Acer, HP, Toshiba, Fujitsu among other have release HD DVD equiped laptops and desktops????

Ed

Comments on

I don't know who will win, but 30 GB is clearly enough room for a high quality HD transfer.

As far as this offer goes, I remember getting a coupon for 3 free DVDs back when I bought my first or second DVD player.
