Well, I've had mine for a few weeks, and while I'm not doing any extreme tests on it, recording just a few shows, and using it for interactive NFL Sunday ticket features, I am really not having any problems. Takes some getting used to in skipping commercials compared to Tivo, but it's not terrible. I am also using a Component video hookup, not HDMI, and it could be that issues others have are HDMI related.
